CHINA
Twelve years. Long enough for a place to stop being foreign and become fundamental. China gave me more than I ever thought to ask for. It shaped my eye, tested my patience, expanded my understanding of what life can look like. It is where I grew up, in every sense that matters. And it is where I found my greatest love. There are no photographs I take anywhere in the world that are not, in some small way, marked by what China taught me.
